Feel Spring In The Air
Down on the farm you can feel spring in the air. The wind still has a chill in it but none the less spring is there. It's time for the maple trees to be tapped for their sweet sap which we turn into maple syrup. It's a fun time, but busy with lots of hard work. When you work shoulder to shoulder with friends and family the time passes all to quickly. It's also a time to pass along the knowledge of years to the younger generation. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of making maple syrup with my grandson, knowing one day he will probably replace me and that's a good thing. All is well down on the farm.
